hello MLPTP <3 so happy i found this place

hi everyone! i've already posted a few times but figured i'd formally introduce myself. you can call me jar; i'm 20, live in MN, am a lesbian & use she/her pronouns.
i'm so happy to have found these forums; i was searching on google about ponies with 'fading pink' hair and somehow ended up on a thread from here lol. really cool to see theres a community like this around pony collecting, especially around G3 and older generations. G3 & G1 are my fave gens, but I currently only collect G3. i have 33 ponies, and counting! my newest additions are Goodie Goodie & Autumn Crisp. i'll list them off below alphabetically:

i grew up with G3 and had so many ponies in my original collection, which all but 1 have been given away, my Sparkleberry Swirl. i'm certain she came with the Best Friends Ball game which i absolutely loved, along with all the G3 books from back then. also played many of the old flash games. (Dancing Studio, Butterfly Island Adventure, Rainbow Wishes Rollercoaster, among others)

apart from MLP, i also like to collect Littlest Pet Shop & Neopets merch! those are my big 3 i would say. i also have a beanie baby collection of 100+ beanies; honestly not very into collecting those as much anymore & would love to eventually sell most of them.
i love anything 2000s and beyond. i only started getting into collecting this year & it makes me pretty happy; it gives me something to look forward to & in a weird sense, a purpose.

Hi!! Welcome to the forum! G3's are so fun to collect because their color pallets are always so soothing in my opinion. You have a great collection so far! love that you're into both those things too! as far as neo merch goes, i have a ton of mcdonald's plush from when i was a a kid, some bigger plush i've been collecting & a few of the trading cards. used to have a handheld console & the nintendo DS puzzle adventure game.
the LPS chinchillas are way too cute. im partial to all the underwater pets & birds, personally ^^

Oh those neopet happy meals were fun to collect! I still have my cloud mynci hanging in my room. Did you ever have the talking interactive ones?

i've never had one of those but they're really cool! i guess the closest thing to that i have would be the burger king neopet figures; i have a blue shoyru that i'm keeping but the rest i'm wanting to sell

The ones I meant were these bigger plush ones that talked to you and to each other, they were a lot of fun cause me, my brother and my sister each had one so they all played together! (Mine was an Aisha)

oooh i was thinking of the figure/plastic ones; i had no idea there were plush ones. love that faerie kacheek in the pic!

the bigger neopets plush that I have would be an orange kougra, blue aisha, blue cybunny, red kau, robo kacheek, & faerie grundo (my most prized). besides them are a baby kau clip & a nova plush i actually found the robo kacheek at a garage sale for only 25 cents; i only needed to use an oxi clean pen on some stains he had, but he looks great. here he is with the faerie grundo

My favorite gen is g3 because that's what I grew up with!
And my favorite neo pet to collect is cybunny! So far I have just this one, it's still got a tag! (not my photo)

the bigger neopets plush that I have would be an orange kougra, blue aisha, blue cybunny, red kau, robo kacheek, & faerie grundo (my most prized). besides them are a baby kau clip & a nova plush i actually found the robo kacheek at a garage sale for only 25 cents; i only needed to use an oxi clean pen on some stains he had, but he looks great. here he is with the faerie grundo

And yup we got the plush ones probably around 2005 ish, basically think Furby but less likely to wake you up in the middle of the night with creepy mumbling lol (I did love my furby though). They answered questions kinda like a magic 8 ball too

Omg that robo kacheek is adorable That’s a great price you got him for! The grundo is cute too, it looks very soft

Sounds like you have some great ponies! I need to dig out my autumn/Halloween ones, they're among my favorites. My husband lived for a few years in MN in the 90's, we went there several years ago for a vacation. It was summer and I couldn't believe how hot it was, for as cold as it gets there I didn't think your summers could be that hot. We went during the state fair cause that's one thing my husband really enjoyed when he lived there. You guys have a huge fair, I ate SO many things LOL, we also went to the zoo, Renaissance fair, Science Museum, Mall of America and I had to find all the Peanuts sculptures around, I am a big Peanuts fan too so that was a must. It was a lot of fun but would definitely go closer to spring or fall next time.

yeah our summer this year was rough. we had a drought of sorts with very little rain and now as soon as fall approached it's been picking up quite a lot. downpoured the other morning.
the state fair is the best! i went this year as well, might be the last time i go for a while. (since we may be moving state) the zoo, MoA and science museum are also faves. i've went to all those places for field trips
