Hello! It's been a while, but I found my way back to the mlptp.

Hello everyone! I used to post here as MoonShard in the before times...honestly I can't remember, like 10 years ago??? Glad to see the MLPTP is still here; I really enjoyed my time here. I got an email invite to a holiday swap some weeks back and was a little surprised that the Trading Post is still going strong. Then yesterday I found a mostly complete, very played with G1 Show Stable, with G1s and acessories, at the thrift shop and immediately bought it. I was NOT walking out of that store without such a treasure haul. Anyways it kinda revived my love of collecting and I wanted to come back and check out what's happening around here.
I also have a soon to be 7 year old daughter, who loves MLP too. I cleaned up the Show Stable find and it now belongs to my kid, who is really happy to have 4 ponies and a "magical house" to add to her herd.

My son was binge watching FIM on Netflix during the pandemic and I said hey I've got like 200 of those ponies from my childhood (G1) in storage, I wander if they're worth anything....
Little did I know that I would fall back in love with them as soon as I opened the tote. They have now multiplied the herd. I immediately found this place and more pony friends than I knew existed.

Thanks! Nice to meet you too. I remembered how much I loved finding and collecting mlp when I found the Show Stable lot at the thrift store. I cleaned everything up and gave all the ponies a bath; I forgot how fun that part is. My daughter loved the idea of giving everything a bath too. I love watching her play her ponies.

200 G1s!!! Holy wow! How could you not fall back in love with them? Kudos to your son for binge watching FIM, excellent choice.
