Hello, I'm new here, I have been on the G4/G5 related forums for less than a year (mlpforums.com), however I found this interesting forum about pre-G4 generations of MLP that is interesting and since that forum up doesn't mention older generations, I decided to join here.

My name is Svetlana Note!

I'm a 19 year old Genderfluid Transwoman. (Also Genderqueer and Non-binary)

My orientation is Homoromantic Asexual.

I'm also known by names such as Nikola and Sam, as well as by my nicknames Sun, SunIsLost, Sun Dash Note and Sunny and even Pony Names Verdant Shy, Verdana Shy and Verdanat Shy. I used to be known as SuperPlayer56.

My hands and legs are my hooves!

I'm a proud Slovakian Brony/Pegasister, watching the Friendship is Magic/G4 show since I was a 6 year old boy in 2010, when it first aired on Czechoslovak kids TV Channel Minimax. Stopped watching in 2016 (I think), re-watching since 2022 and joined the fandom the same year. (And has since realized that at first I'm Genderfluid and then TransMtF)

However, my journey with MLP probably started sometime in 2008/2009, when I was probably 4/5/6 years old and I think it was G1! In my eyes, even fans of older generations are Bronies.

Nice to meet you and brohoof /) to y'all! (sorry for the G4 terminology, I transferred the text from the G4 forum)

Hello and welcome! I hope you qill enjoy your time here and maybe you'll find some topics here that spark your interest!

I think many fans of older gens here probably wouldn't identify as Bronies (as that is its own specific phenomenon) but I'm sure some do!

It honestly depends on the person whether he or she (or everyone in between) identifies as a Brony. But thanks. /)

Ah, I see! That makes sense!

I do look back on the Brony craze fondly. I did an art table at Bronycon in 2013 and 2014 and it was a lot of fun. The event was filled with such kind and exciting people.

What has it been like being a My Little Pony fan in your country? Are there events or meetups?

Yea it does!
My country doesn't have bronycons unfortunately. (And I'm not aware of any events or meetups)

Welcome! I'm always impressed by how pony fans can come together from around the world in online places like this! I'm almost completely a G1 fan though I got into G3 for a while and still enjoy the ones I've kept. I appreciate Friendship is Magic for how inclusive it was. I know it gave a lot of people a safe space to be fans of something cute and I'm always glad for that. Are you very interested in the older generations of ponies? It's ok if you aren't, there are fans of newer (and all) generations here too!
