G4 Have you seen these?

So we were at a Target today in line to check out, and I happen to look down to see a row of MLP packaged like this--just the brushable figure with no accessories, for $2.99. I had to grab Cheerilee since I have yet to get her, and figured it was just a Target thing.

Then I encountered more at the FYE store. Mostly they are the Mane 6, the one pictured was the only "background pony" I could find.

So now I'm just wondering--is this a new thing or am I way behind the times? Does anyone know who else has been released in this form? I really have no desire to have accessories so this version of the brushables is right up my alley!

Yep! Fred Meyer has these too. I noticed them several months ago - usually just Pinkie Pie. But yesterday I noticed they had a couple of Lyra in the checkout lane.

Walmart had them back around Easter, but I haven't seen them there recently. I believe the ones available are Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Cheerilee, Lyra, and Lily Blossom.

These have been around for a while. I also needed Cheerilee and this was the only way to get her. She is now a bait....

I see these at the local Walmart. I always thought they were overstocked ponies or ponies that someone opened/box got damaged and they repacked them.

I don't frequent Walmart or have a local Target (we drove an hour and a half away yesterday to go to a larger flea market and hit up the closest Target to us), so I had no idea! Thanks guys.
