I was bored one day and got the idea to sculpt over a thin wooden core with Sculpey to create a wand. My friends were over at the time so we all created one.

Since creating this wand I have created three more - but this one was my first one and it's also the most durable, so today I felt like showing it off.

This wand is in the style of a unicorn; the other wands include a drama-themed black wand with gold and silver trimmings (for my drama teacher who also loves Harry Potter), a "wooden" wand with a carved phoenix on the handle, and a very close replica of Harry Potter's wand from the movies.

For now though, I present this wand to you. It's very shiny, but I like it that way.

Keeping in mind that this was my first, it does have it's flaws. I learned a good lesson in baking sculpy when I created this wand. See the rough parts near the tip and the creases a bit farther down? That's evidence of this learning experience.

However, these pictures don't really do the wand justice. The angle of the pictures make the wand look short, like the handle is too big compared to the rest of the wand. It's not like this in real life.

Each wand is signed and dated somewhere on the handle.

Type: Yew
Core: Unicorn Hair
Length: 11 Inches

And here's a picture of me practicing my Patronus Charm.
