Hello, I decided to do a little intro on here since I've made a couple posts now and have been perusing the threads. I'll put a little intro into my experiences and opinions with ponies and why I'm here.

I wasn't a particularly big ponyfan when I was a kid, but when I was about 12-13 (in 2009-2010) I was a frequent user of DollDivine, the dress up doll site, and they had a few pony dress-ups/customizing games with a style similar to g1-g3. Through that I ended up finding the g1 1980s cartoons on youtube and I watched all of them that I could find. This was exactly the time that g4 came out, by complete coincidence, and I became really involved in the g4/brony fandom as an artist. I always felt a little stung by the fact the g4 fandom didn't like the 80s cartoons, and while I like the cartoony style of g4 I do like the more pony look of the early gens.

I'm not really a collector, I had younger siblings (who I used as an excuse to watch the g1 videos on youtube- I made them all watch them with me), and I ended up giving many of my beloved toys to them and then regretting it years later, ofc. But the only pony figures I remember having were a g3 Blossomforth and g4 Applejack and Rarity.

Because I liked g1 I would draw the g1 ponies in g4 style a lot and incorporate them into stories, so I have a little list of ponies I'd want to collect if I ever had the inclination. I had a whole fan story about the Princesses, I included Starglow in one of my ask blogs and I liked the designs of Tossles, Quackers, Tic Tac Toe and Galaxy (pretty much any of the twinkle eye ponies). I love all animals so I like the llama, dinosaur, camel, moose g1 dolls too. Lastly I'd definitely have to get one of the Megan dolls, and I'd want So Soft ponies from g1 to go with her (I really like the concept of So Softs, I'd love to learn how to reflock them, that's a skill I was trying to learn about and couldn't find much info on until I came to the MLPTP boards). Someday, maybe!

I sculpt dolls + I've been doing 3D modeling (see prev threads etc etc) and learning about this has brought me back to the MLP fandom via doll collector world again.
