G3 G3 Hair Stains?

So I have been cleaning my pony room. I came across Style Rarity who I haven't touched since unboxing her when I bought her. It seems her hair has stained her body. Is this a thing? I read the post about G3 disintegration in hair and I wondered if staining is a thing, too. Where's the undo button? Magic erasers don't work. Any advice?

i know this happens with several g1s, notably sugarberry and surprise, which is why most people wrap g1 hair in tissues or whatever before putting them in storage. according to some other people it's happened with g3s like mistletoe.

i'm not familiar with how to clean it. i've managed to avoid having this happen to me somehow.

but acetone would also be my suggestion.

Wow they got really stained, that’s so odd. You could try regular nail polish remover, I think it’s like 40-50% acetone on a qtip, I’ve found that for removing scuffs and some surface stains it works better than 100% acetone. Plus it’s a bit gentler so it usually won’t mess up the factory paint if you accidentally get too close to the symbol. Good luck!

I would try acetone and magic eraser. Please tell us how it goes. I think I will store some tissue paper with my G3 styling ponies hair now…

Yikes! If the acetone/ magic eraser won't work, maybe try sunfading? But keep a good eye on it and cover up the rest so it won't fade... It's always a bit more risky, because you could fade more than you would like though.
