I made Eve into a G3 pony! I’m super happy with how she turned out!
I made her with a baity Star Swirl and just removed her old hair and marks, but left her original eyes cause G2 Eve’s eyes are kinda grey-ish blue.
Her hair is from Shimmerlocks and I decided to use 2 shades of blue instead of just one cause that seemed more G3-ish than just the single shade of blue. She also has a tiny bit of pink in her tail, just like her G2 counterpart.
Her cutie mark is painted on with using acrylic paint pens from Amazon and a small plastic blue gem (as a nod to the Sparkle/Gem G3 ponies from 2004-2006), and her cutie mark has a thin layer of sparkles over it, as well as on her forehead!
I also gave her twinkle eyes! The tiny diamonds were a PAIN to get in and they still kinda stick out further than I would’ve liked them too, but I did the best I could.
Her hair is just simply curled overnight with hot water and paper towels and then wrapped around her leg and neck. I’m so obsessed with how her tail curl turned out cause it makes a perfect ocean wave/swirl!
This is by far my most favorite custom I’ve made so far. I wanna put her in her own personalized G3 box with her name and backcard story, but I think that’s gonna be another big project on its own.
I also made some pics of her with her older sister G2 Eve!
If Hasbro actually had made Eve in the G3 era, she would’ve absolutely been my most favorite G3 pony.
I’m also thinking about making a G1 Eve too, but that’ll be a while from now.
