Hi, quick price check because I've been out of the selling loop for a while now. I just got back my G1 plushies from my parents and I'm thinking of selling them, would it be worth it to try and sell them on here? I was thinking of asking $2 - 7 for them, depending on condition, plus shipping.

Do you think people would be willing to pay asking price + shipping for them, or would I be better off just donating them? I'm in Canada.

Offhand I know I have: Cotton Candy, Cherries Jubilee, Glory, Moondancer, Windy, Posey, Parasol, Surprise, Lickety Split and Bowtie.

Thanks!

do you have a bowtie?

Yes I do, and my sisters added her plushies of the list of ones we have to sell so in a few days I will post a complete list with pictures. So far I think we have around 12 or so to sell :D

You definitely caught my interest too! Parasol and Posey are my big wants.

I'm going to be taking one of the plushies to the post office tomorrow in a box to get an estimate of shipping for someone, if anyone else wants to PM me their zip codes I can get some shipping estimates for other locations as well since I really don't have a good idea of how much it would cost to ship one of these things out. :D

Sorry for the bit of a tangent this topic has gone on. SS, that's a great idea, I have never shipped anything in a padded bag before. Am I able to buy them anywhere other than the post office (which tends to charge obscene amounts for packaging supplies)? Or make my own?

I get mine from cheap stores in the stationary section or places like office supply stores or kmart or target.

Bumping this because I've looked everywhere and can't find any shipping bags for sale, even my post office didn't have any o_O

Does anyone know if making my own would be acceptable? Using bags, bubble wrap and tape? Would that be the best way to ship a plush and as a collector would you find that acceptable? Thanks

You can buy them at places like Staples and Walmart. Also some dollar stores carry them.

I swear I've checked dollar stores, Wal Mart, Zellers, and the post office and none had them. The only place I never went to check in person was Staples and I did check online and they only seem to have the bubble envelope mailers- none of which seem quite large enough to ship a G1 plush?

Another option is to buy a large kraft envelope and bubblewrap the plush before putting it inside the envelope. Both those supplies should be fairly easy to come by.

I may be a bit late to the table, but FedEX, UPS ect have large oversize plastic envelopes that plushies might fit in. I think you can get the supplies free from anywhere that ships with those vendors.

If you're looking for US zip codes - I'm in 19018 (Philadelphia area)
