G4 Funko glitters?

I've been on the hunt for a glittery funko pony instore for quite a while. I don't have a lot of money to purchase one online so i'm trying to find one instore since theyre only 15$ if im lucky enough to find one. My question is are they hot topic exclusive or can I find one at ToysRus or Walmart?

Glittery? As in the translucent ponies? Those are online only Hot Topic exclusives. You can only get these randomly when you order a regular Funko pony. You might get a glitter one, but I don't know how it works.

They aren't Hot Topic exclusives. They can be found at TRU and other stores. I found a Glitter Pinkie Pie at TRU for example. But you have to be very alert since they look like normal ones at a glance.

The Funko glitters are 1/24. So, technically, if you or a store were to order 24 of the same pony, one would be glitter but ordering in bulk doesn't guarantee a glitter figure since they're randomly inserted in to shipments (I think the ponies are packaged 3 or 4 per box). They can be found at any store that sells the Funko ponies but because they're limited and most stores don't order large quantities they're not as easy to find and when a store has one, it doesn't take long for someone to buy it.

They're exclusive to Hot Topic when the waves are first released but then after a few months the wave gets a wider release and can be found in other stores.
