Hi everyone! I know I am a new face and new name, but I just found these... I know how special vintage MLP are so I want to get them into the hands of a collector that can appreciate these little ones.

If anyone could help me with pricing/how desired any of these actually are? Help me get these guys to a good home!

What lovely ponies! Looking through these, the first thing you are going to want to do is identify the ponies. There are lots of ways to do so, though my personal favorite is strawberryreef.com
It seems like you've got mostly generation 1 ponies, so that's a good place to start.
Once you know which pony you've got, you should assess its condition. Some things that can bring down value are haircuts, scuffs on the paint, deformations to the body, etc.
A popular way to gauge price is to go on Ebay, type in the pony's name (for example "MLP G1 Peachy") and then look at the "sold" listings. This is a good way to tell what people are willing to pay for a particular pony right now.

Taking a quick glance over the picture, from G1 I see Peachy, Sunbeam, Firefly, Sundance, Sunlight, Starshine, Sparkler, a bunch of baby ponies, Angel, Milky Way, Cherry Treats, Cranberry Muffins, Boysenberry Pie, Brilliant Bloom, Twinkler, Sweet Pop, Magic Star, Wind Whistler, North Star, Zig Zag, and a whole lot more! I hope that can get you started.

Thank you so, so much! That's been so incredibly helpful I grabbed every legit pony they had and have started cleaning them up gently (based on tutorials linked in this forum!) and am now researching their prices/assessing their conditions! Looks to be about 50 ponies. I can't wait to get them into the hands of someone to love them and maybe even restore some of them! ⭐

You do have a nice lot here! I also really like Toysisters for pony ID. And some more specific info about each pony can be found at My Little Wiki. Condition (including color brightness or discoloration) can make a big difference to the value! So be cautious cleaning special cases like So-Soft, Magic Message, Princess Ponies, and glitter symbols who can be easily damaged. We can help with more questions if you have them.
I see a couple of fakies in there, I think, which are what we call the imitation MLP that many companies made. People can be interested in those too, but prices vary. They're usually easy to distinguish from G1 because their sculpts and eye paint style will be very different, and they won't say Hasbro under a foot. You also have some Beddy-bye-eye Babies, which are genuine MLP but have doll eyes that can open and close (and can rust if left wet!). Proper working ones will close when the pony is tilted on its back.
To hazard a guess, So-Soft Angel might be one of your more sought-after finds. She is on my wishlist ^_^
I hope you'll find the ID process interesting! Or if you want to get through it more quickly, line them all up for us in a photo and we'll have fun naming them all for you, hehe.

Thank you so much! We left all of the fakies to be honest, only brought home the legit ones! If you are interested in So Soft Angel, I would be happy to sell her to you and can get more pics. I have feedback on my ebay and etsy. I mostly just want them to get into the hands of collectors like you that will love them and restore them. I am a Pokémon collector and know how wonderful collecting is

But anyway, I do have some pics of the ones I have gently cleaned so far. I have not messed with the little ones (aside from 2), so softs, beddy bye eyes, or the flutterwings (that are missing their wings) yet so I really appreciate the input! I learn very fast, and have immersed myself to learn everything I can to not mess them up!

I don't plan to entirely restore - and haven't - I'd rather leave that to a dedicated collector Here are some pictures of what I have cleaned up to the best of my ability so far.

I attached the pictures vs. posting them in the post because I am on mobile and just know that they are probably gigantic.

Thank you so much, that is so helpful! If you have pricing recommendations as well, I would be eternally grateful (but also, I know this is so much work, so please know I am extremely appreciative of your input and expertise and there is no pressure to do so unless you want to) ♡

I am starting to learn and remember which pony is which already - feeling a bit proud over here lol!

There are some nice restoration candidates in here! If I didn't have so many projects in my queue already I'd have bought more than one from you! :)

What a find! Congrats on all your lovely ponies. :)

I often use this site to help me price ponies!

Thank you so much! ♡
No recommendations of my own for prices, but this is the site I check for a sort of ballpark estimate:

Bluerose's G1 eBay Price Guide
Thank you truly! ♡
