I dedicate this pony to any and all who have fallen in love then have had their heart torn out and ripped to shreds; to those who have lost love, are alone, and wish they didn't crave to not be alone anymore.
Last year I had an idea for an anti-valentine pony but I never did it; I was lacking the skills, the confidense, and the materials. This year though, the other day, I had major inspiration thanks to "Don't Wanna be in Love" by Good Charllotte. It was just what the lyrics meant to me, how they described pretty much my dating experiance that I just had to do this pony.
I had a bait Skywishes in my box who had a name written on one of her legs, so I figured I'd cover that up with a stocking. Seeing as I was going for a punkish feeling it fit perfectly. Then after using G2 Ivy's pink hair on my G2 Minty I wanted to use that again along with my Sugarverry; I thought the two would look good together. But then, out of the randomness, in Sears I saw a tie with a black/white/pink patten and I just liked it so much I had to duplicate it for her hair patterning.
For her symbol I googled "broken heart tattoo" and I came up with the one I used; this was my first time doing a pencil transfer and I loved how well it worked! First I was ging to have it colored but that looked off so I just went with straight black. This was also the first time I've added a few extra eyelashes and I liked the effect; well I've always liked the effect it does on others' customs but I've never gotten it right before ^^;
The silver painted "riviets" weren't in my original idea (I had an idea originally? I thought this was all random :lol: ) but the symbol leg felt like it was lacking, and then I liked the effect there so I added some to the face. I used 1 gel band for her necklace and bracelet; that was totally randm as I'd just bought it like an hour before I strated painting her, but I so love how they look on her. They continue the hot pink and just add to her look.
I'm on the fence about her name. She was inspired by "Don't Wanna be oin Love" but I was never a fan of the long titleish names, but I was listening to "Love Drunk" eariler and it has a similar meaning to it, and sounds more like a pony name. So idk...
So the technicals:
-rehaired with DH Black Magic, GitD, Sugarberry; G2 Ivy pink and G3 Rainbow Flash pink
-all painting done by hand and sealed
-was originally a G3 Skywishes
Who knew I could make a pony this pretty?
:reaper: Kat :reaper:
