Doll collectors can you provide insight please?

There's a dark stain on the hands and face, made out of vinyl, and he says he can't get it out. Tried cream lightener and didn't work. Would it be possible to try sunfading?

ETA: He does say the doll has been on dark sheets. Could that have transferred?

Fabric can definitely stain dolls if it's on long term, I'm not not familiar with that type of doll but I know it can happen to fashion dolls like Monster High and Rainbow High. Especially dark colors.
The only thing I can think is to try acetone but I known that can melt some types of doll plastics, and it would probably strip off any blushing.
Hopefully someone can come through with a better solution!
