G4 Do you think Starlight Glimmer will become a Alicorn?

Hey, I don't know how many of you follow the FiM show. But do you think she will? In To Where and Back again Twilight Sparkle basically said she's learned everything. I mean, it seems she almost the equivalent of TS. It does seem probable in the new movie or Season 7. Else she will probably just go back to her town and just help the ponies there, and TS can visit her.
 
I think she could be set up to become one. I hope it's not the way it goes. Twilight being a princess and finding out about with the exception of flurry heart how you become a Alicorn kinda takes a little of the wonder of it away.

I rather liked the idea Princess Luna and Princess Sunbutt (can you tell I have a favorite) being immortal. While Cadance and Twilight earned it. I mean it's kinda the chicken and the egg story if you ask me.

There had to be alicorn or something if Luna and Sunbutt became princess so the later to could become them.

As for Starlight I just think it pushing the show to say oh hay here another princess. I mean Twilight just got crowned and flurry heart showed up.

I don't think Starlight is really fleshed out enough. She too much like a copy of twilight mix with a dash of bad guy when she was the villian.

I think after other issue and more fleshing out the show could handle another princess. But right now I don't think she will or should.
 
Yeah, i think the show would have to handle it very very well if they decided Starlight would be an Alicorn. I still think Starlight needs more experience on her own with her own friends (Discord, Trixie, Thorax) before that happens. Such as Starlight learning how to live in her town and not control it. And the show could, say every 5 episodes, focus on Starlight and her gang as well as the 6. And maybe if FiM has a long life, Starlight could evventually become an Alicorn.
 
I am not much of a celestia fan. I think she a ok teacher but she leaves all the dirty work of protecting to the main six. The one time she shows a tiny bit of helping she gets her flank kicked.

I just have trouble with a ruler who clearly in the past was so protective but now seem more like hiding. While sending others to go save the world. I guess she has reason.

I think celestia has a good heart so I dont hate hate her. She very motherly towards twilight. I do think she love Luna a lot. Maybe while not immortal such long lives has taken a mental tole on her. Luna I know suffers from her nightmare moon time and 1000 years on the moon. I know it would mess any pony up to have all that on them.

Anyway I do think despite all of her short coming. She does seem have quite a lot of wisdom to share. Which is why I say she makes a good teacher/ mentor.

Over all I don't really like Celestia very much. She a very ify on ruling at least now in my opinion. However she has a few good points. She is a key Charater to the show and it would not be the same with out her in it.
