Thanks to LLBPonyGirl for poking me to finish my clockwork series. I hadn't even considered the fact that I left a mythical equine race out of the picture, let alone two!
A nice sunny pic:

Group shot with AllisLove's Clockwork Legend:
Clockwork Myst was a rather large undertaking (when will I learn?!). She features around 30-40 hours of work. After I prepped the bait I added the TEoD (Twinkle Eye of Doom) that I enjoy putting on these gals. Next came the armature for the tail and the (score!) Barbie mermaid tail I had saved from the trash bin a few months before. I wanted to create a different sort of mermaid scale, one that felt more like metal plates and less like scales. The chains on her tail are somewhat adjustable, they can be longer or shorter as you like. Her drown was a bit tricky, but then I spotted a princess pony medallion that had fallen out of a bait. Insert tons of sculpting. Her hair is Virgin Snow, I had originally planned to have a bun on top and ringlets below, but that didn't work out.
For her tail I researched flamed copper, as I loved the way it tied in all sorts of colors, like Myst's blue. I actually am finishing up my experimental flamed copper pony now. I love the effect!
She is SOLD
One more to go...the Earth Clockwork Pony, mwhaha!
Don't forget, the Steampunk Swap is coming to the Arena!! Whoohoo!
