Birthday Loot + Snow in Mississippi!

Hi Everyone! I know I just had a really big Show and Tell recently, but I wanted to show what my pony friend Beth AKA mlpgirl got me for my birthday, and it snowed here for only the second time in my lifetime!

I live in a humid sub-tropical environment, so very rarely does it snow, but it's even more rare if it sticks! It only lasted about... 3 hours or so before it started to melt, but of course I put some in a bag and it's in my freezer, and I threw a snowball or two at the dogs!

First I'll show you what mlpgirl got me! I was sooooo stoked about the pillows and especially the sea pony shirt! But her aunt actually made me the pillows, so they are one-of-a-kind, and I feel so happy and grateful to have them!

I love the pillows- they are extremely soft, and the shirt is so so so so beyond words.

Ok, so my older sister got me some risers (two to be exact). Some of you may remember my pony closet thread- well, here is how the risers helped out with my Rainbow ponies and flutter ponies shelf.

And the whole G1 area again, updated with Dream Castle and my G2 set-up.

Me and Walter in our backyard! I'm not really equipped with enough clothes for this kind of weather, so we snapped a few quick shots and that was that.

Of course I had to take a photo of my favorite pony in the snow!

Thanks for looking! And it's not technically my birthday yet, that's a few days from now, but I had a joint b-day party with my Mom since hers is so close to mine.

Awesome birthday loot! I LOVE that sea pony shirt. I so want some of those junk food T's. The risers really make your display beautiful. That was a thoughful gift from your sis.

We had snow here too! It snowed all afternoon Saturday. It was really pretty. There's even still some on the ground that hasn't melted yet.

lol I wish we got that little snow where I live, I think it's cute that you took Honeycomb out there for a photo. Those risers really make a big difference, the ponies look great!

Happy Birthday! Your collection is beautiful! I'm glad you are happy about getting some snow. It's a common thing up here, so it always makes me happy to hear people who are actually happy about it.

Snow, what snow? Here that's what we call frost. It snowed here on Jaunary 6th and it stuck pretty good, kids still had school the next day (last day before Winter Break was over) (Thank Goodness!)

Your collection looks great with the risers in there. And your birthday presents are awesome. Your present from me is coming. My mom's b-day was Saturday and I asked my daughter to pick up the card for her and your's was right underneath it, so when she picked it up she picked up both and stuck them in the present bag for my mom. I hunted all over creation for that envelope. It will be in the mail tomorrow. Please let me know when you get it.

Enjoy the snow while you have it!! When you live in an area where you don't get much, it's really exciting when it comes. I love Mississippi!! I stayed in Biloxi a few times for a horse show in Gulfport, but that was before Katrina. It was so beautiful! I loved those huge ancient mansions along the water. So sad to know they've been destroyed

Thanks again everyone, and Star Glow, I guess you do go through Mississippi quite often when you're going between Texans and Florida. For some reason I never paid attention to where you were from and always imagined you from the North somewhere! Haha

Blissaru! Thank you! I'd totally love it if you'd come play ponies with me! I do take them down a lot, and I love taking pictures of them, although I haven't taken many in a while.
I will say that a couple of months ago I made my sisters play ponies with me again for the first time since we were kids. Hehe, it was still fun! Having so many, it's hard to choose who to be!
