Has anyone heard of this new title? It's a new movie coming out in Feb 07. Please forgive me if this has been posted. I am looking for pictures.. I can't seem to find any as of now.

There was a preview on The Runaway Rainbow, but this is the first I've seen of cover art, I think! It's actually very pretty!!

SWEET

Thank you for sharing :D

Oohhh... nice cover art. The best one so far I think. Thanks for the heads up. Though, does anyone think that 'A very Pony Place' is a bit of a wierd title?

it's the "err... we ran out of ideas!" DVD.

I haven't even heard a release date for the UK yet, so I'm wondering if they're going to skip us completely  . I'm going to emigrate so that I can get all the good pony stuff  !

Does anyone who already has the DVD know who the voice of Lily Lightly is? I'm desperately hoping that Tabitha St. Germain or Janyse Jaud will have got the part, but I fear it will be another of these awful "Let's employ someone who can't sing or act to save their life" effects...

I have that poster! :) I went to the movies a couple nights ago (in Louville, KY) and there it was, sitting on a stand inside. Luckily Chris is friends with one of the managers and asked if we could have it. His response: 'I didn't see anything.' So he picked it up and carried it out for me, LoL.
We may go see the movie next weekend. $3.50, can't beat that.

Buahahaha... oh you must write a review of this one too, please please please X 0-) I'm still on the G1 movies; it'll be a while before I get around to any of the G3s, pah.
*is amused by Rarity, mostly because she still hasn't had to listen to her, harharhar... and hmm, anyone else find an interesting link between ponies losing their hair color and that terrible fading pink Hasbro kept using? Is this prophetic?! Poor G3s, they'll age and white just like the first bunch... : 0-P *

"A Very Pony Place" is indeed a lame name. Hasbro need to, like, hire creative people for a change... lately ponies and movies both all need to be rechristened before they're even bearable to think, much less say aloud, gah o.o;; And yes. Find a few new voice actors and animators while they're at it. Sigh. (It's sad when I sit there and think "I could do this better..." X 0-) ) Watched Somnambula & the rest today; it was Truly's voice driving me nuts. Especially when she sang. Now I'm having horrific visions of her cross-gen duet with Rarity...
(Did anyone ever figure out the identity of pink pony #1?)

LOL! Well, their going to have trouble finding somebody better than Truly apparantly. That's Nancy Cartwright, who is supposed to be the best voice actress around today... Hmmm...

lol...huh. I can really pick 'em, no? X 0-)
I can't decide whether it was the voice itself or more the horrible accent-that-didn't-work-and-killed-the-song, lol... likely the latter. I'll have to watch it again, I guess : 0-P Of course, Salty's frequent and somewhat out-of-place "Blow me down!"s and such were irritating to me, too, lol...and Baby Lickety Split's so-called baby talk...gah. (Let's just delete a random word or three from most sentences, 'kay mate?) So...yeah. I think I just despite the animation people's way of writing (or voice-directing, or whatever) accents and catchphrases and, hem, general characterization through voice e.e

But, er...yeah. X 0-) One of these days I need to hear Rarity. Just to see. --I wonder if there's any chance of them improving on the new movie? (From the looks of it... *eyes title*)

Well, MLP was recorded back in Nancy's early acting days, so maybe she hadn't figured out how to do the accents properly yet  Truly's my favourite pony in the series, so I'm probably biased anyway! She was born in Ohio, so Truly's accent is quite obviously not natural, and in my experience singing in a different accent is pretty hard. (I'm obssessed with voice acting, and am trying to get into the job myself, in case you hadn't guessed  !)

Rarity (just to finish my silly trivial nonsense post) is actually voiced by the old My Little Pony Tales voice director (Cathy Weseluck)... Ah, so now we know why the Pony Tales voices were so hard to understand! It wasn't the fault of the actors, but of the director!!!
