2007 Valentines Ponies and new playset

Oh, I knew there were going to be more LPS MLP, lol! How interesting. And I'm glad we'll get another round of Valentine's Day ponies and hopefully all the other holidays next year! :)

It's interesting that the Val ponies are boxed, in Crystal Princess box styles nonetheless. And no background art either. I'm wondering what next year's theme is going to be! I don't care for Candy Heart's pose or color but the symbols are cute. I miss the frilly dresses though :(

Glad to get a preview of what's to come!
 
OH MY GOD THE VALENTINE'S PONIES ARE SO CUUUUUUUUUUTE!!! all my heart = <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 i LOVE the 3D symbols as well. SQUEE!! and i so can't wait for the little chibi pony playsets!! ^____^<3

Wheeeeeee! Those little playsets are so adorable! And the Valentine's Day ponies are so cool! I love the 3-D symbols (although it looks like the two ponies have their names reversed or something. Why wouldn't the one with the two heart suckers be named "Candy Heart?") Cute nonetheless though!

I'm going to be broke, broke, broke this year. And I don't care! :D

candy heart's symbol is candy hearts... you know, the necco wafer ones? ;)
 
I don't like thier boxes, the ponys themselves are ok, not wild about them but they are ok.
But I like the heart shaped packaging better.

All My Heart is absolutely to die for, but the more I see that Daffidazey pose the more I want to KILL. ...*ahem* I think Candy Hearts' particular shade of pink is a little off-putting as well, but I'll probably change my mind when I see her in person. I'm a little disappointed that they don't seem to be on heart-shaped bubble cards, but maybe they just didn't have them mocked up yet?

Also, I'm oddly exicted to see that the LPS-esque pony sets aren't just limited to Christmas. I hadn't planned on collecting them, but I just might be swayed after all. They'd be the perfect size to sit on my desk at work...
 
I think All My Heart has a nice little pose, and the hair colors look pretty good on her. Plus, the antennae are very adorable.

However, I think that Candy Heart's accessory necklace is weak. It looks pretty bad on her in my opinion. Her symbol is such a cute idea though.

If they have the cute valentine's day packaging like this year, which I'm sure they will, I'll probably get both.

I actually had a dream a couple of weeks ago that I picked up the new (2007) Valentine's Day ponies from the store. I only got one though, I think. It was in the heart package- she had cute wrap-on wings and her symbol was a large, glittery heart more to the center of her body, rather than on her rump. I was so sure it'd be like in my dream. Tarnation, these are cute though!
 
that necklace looks like the same one that comes with shimmer shine... it's not as cute as antennae, but it looks better when you pull it down over their neck seam. ^__^

I do agree on that. Heart shaped packings are SO much cuter and more fitting. But I guess Hasbro feels they need to do something new...
