$11 Styling Starsong & Other Weirdness at Walmart

Good news: I was at Walmart yesterday and Styling Starsong was on the clearance shelf for $11. The Family Convertible was $13.

Bad news: ALL the pony stuff was on the clearance shelf! It had been moved out of its place beside LPS and they were setting new merchandise, some of it even holiday! There were NO ponies anywhere in the regular toy section. What is going on? Where are the ponies? Hope this is a very temporary thing, especially with the new ponies coming out in the fall. Has anyone else seen this?
 
Its the same way at my walmart!! I just firgured they was making room for the new models....
 
I seem to remember this happening at the same time last year as well... Inventory shifts and they're starting production on the new line... I predict some major pony droughts until at least November.
 
i just came from my own Walmart and yeah, they only had like 3 PV things off in a corner while the isles were all rearanged and there were no MLP tags in the isles. it was saddness.

HOWEVER since the Hub is starting in Oct, that means te G4s should start coming out in stores around that time/in time for Xmas, so maybe we'll only be MLPless fora few months while the new line filters in.

I wish the G3.5 stuff was on clearance at my walmart. I want the two Styling ponies, and Mom Pie, but they are still too much for me.
 
this was happening at my target a few week's back, when i went there last they had put everything back where it belonged and everything was off of clearence :)
 
It's the same at my Wally world,ponies are all mixed in with other sale items. Except their prices weren't marked down. :|

Also, they moved all the toys around. The barbie/bratz/disney princess isle used to be closest to the electronic department with lps/ssc/ponies and those types next. Then an isle of baby doll type stuff, two or three boy isles (I don't know the exact order) then baby/infant toys. Now the boys isle are next to electronics, the baby stuffs in the middle and barbie next to the bikes. It messed me up big time on Saturday when I went there.
