Well played!
Well played!
Guest, The MLPTP's Fundraiser and Prize Giveaway will be returning on June 1st! Check out this thread for all the latest news!
For mine Steamer’s jacket has snaps so it’s fully removable, Zipp has an elastic around her neck keeping the costume in place so I can take it off easy. But Celestia is completely sewn into the oogie boogie costume lol I’ll have to cut her out
oh no I hope there is a way to save that oogie boogie costume! but yeah I was inspired by that pinkie pie costume to see if I could make something that could be reworn if I put up my halloween diorama. For mine Steamer’s jacket has snaps so it’s fully removable, Zipp has an elastic around her neck keeping the costume in place so I can take it off easy. Yours is cool cause you could put the head back on top of the body without a pony and it still looks complete
Mine closed with velcro! The hoods were separately attached.
The work and detail you put in is awesome.Mine closed with velcro! The hoods were separately attached.

Anyone have any pics from years past? Do we have a thread already for costume before and after pics or montages ? I am now smiling even more as I agree with megaleafeon that schmooze outfit is totally giggle-worthy. And does that wig for sweet clover come off?
overall just a great event guys
Thank you!! It was really fun! The baby outfit almost was too small around the neck when i finished it, i panicked a little but managed to get the velcro closed! I also had originally intended give them cute dog noses but i forgot haha. The work and detail you put in is awesome.
Omg i love that her necklace even had a proper closure! Thats so fancy!! The wig is *chefs kiss* top tier wig haha its so perfect how did you make it? Id be so interested to know the process!! Did you hand press the skirt pleats?Yes! It's a totally separate wig that I "sculpted" to fit over a mane that was sewn up into tight buns. The hair ornaments are attached with tiny wire to the wig.
The dress laces up the back with heavy white upholstery thread, so she doesn't need to be cut out (though a wide-eye needle is needed to lace her back up again), and her necklace has a tiny hook and eye closure so it comes off too! SO MUCH WORK but I loved it!
@strawberrypony32 those are such great little bitty outfits. Are those hand stitches I see? so tidy. I love that you completed them with velcro closures too.

Haha honestly I might just leave her in it, I’m not sure. She was a pony I had in my box for trading/customizing cause I wasn’t really sure I liked the patterns they put on her for a Celestia. But I needed somebody taller so they could kinda loom over my Jack so I pulled her out but now she might stay in my collection. That’s cool that you made it so they can wear it again another year ^_^oh no I hope there is a way to save that oogie boogie costume! but yeah I was inspired by that pinkie pie costume to see if I could make something that could be reworn if I put up my halloween diorama.

Oooh, I made a pony wig once! It was made of yarn
I basically made a scalp cap then rooted the hair in!
