MLP logo getting revamped as well

Which logo do you prefer? New or old?

Seems like we've been bombarded with so much new information about the turn Hasbro is taking for the MLP line the last couple of days.

Looks like they are slightly changing the logo too!

Which one do you like better?

To me, the new one looks kind of like that Pretty Petz logo- they make MLP fakies, if you'll recall.

I like the new one better, the 'y' looks like a tail - but I prefer the 80's over all :tongue:

Although it's not a huge change, I think I like the new logo a little better. I like how the "y" kind of ends in a pony tail.

What I really miss and liked best is the original rainbow logo :hearts:
 
They are too similar in my eyes, I don't see either choice being a problem.
 
I like the old one..the new one will be okay if it is RAINBOW COLORs.
 
I like the fact the logo itself is white on a pink background, as well as the ponytail-Y. ;) The two toned logo looks more classic to me, more 80s.
 
I like the old one better but I like the new Y. The new one lacks color,dude,where's my rainbow?
 
As long as the colour is brighter, I quite like the new one.
 
^^ If you relax your eyes and look at it, the 'Pony' looks like a laying down pony! The 'P' makes the pony's head, like she's looking behind her, the 'O' and the 'N' make the body, and the 'Y' makes the tail and rear end.

I noticed this because I was spaced out when I looked at it.

I kinda of like it though...I think that these new ponies aren't G4 or a new era of G3s, more like..G3 1/2. That's what I'll call them anyways.
 
Both logo's are no thing of beauty. But the new is an improvement. :)

lol, the (in my personal opinion) ugly logo was the reason I'd open all my g3's. I hated the packaging. :squid:
 
The coloring is difficult to tell but I think that the design of the new logo is much nicer. I was never really a fan of the old G3 one. :p
 
Hmmm the poll is closer than I thought. I like the old one. But that's cause I don't think a company should revamp a major product logo. Familiarity of brand should consist of continuity of imagery.
