I'm at my friend's house and I decided to do a little sketching. I had no plan but the colors ended up looking like Posey so I just crudely drew her symbol on there from what I remember it looking like.

thank you all so much!! idk why but whenever I'm doodling ponies i have a tendency to make them look ticked off lol.

Expressive! What pencils are you using?

i just used crayolas for this one but i do have prismacolors at home. lately my traditional art has been a mix of the two because there's a good chunk of my prismacolors that i just... can't find anymore?? i think i lost them when i moved house a few years ago. and with crayolas i don't feel like I'm wasting anything expensive if the drawing doesn't end up meeting my standards.

There are some "art" crayolas that come in a tin that are actually soft. I'd rate them sort of similar to the Prismacolor scholar pencils. I've found them, for cheap, at an Ollie's. They will work with burnish and blending pencils.

And if you already have them, maybe others will benefit the mention. I like the tin.

I've managed to amass some Prismas from thrift stores to bulk up my collection. But for doodling I like the scholars, art crayola, and prang. The cheapo Artist Loft have a few stand out colors, too.
