Haiku Contest
A haiku is a short poetic verse that originated in Japan, consisting of 3 lines of text in a syllable pattern of 5-7-5.
Example:
A silly pony <----5 syllables
She calls herself Applejack <----7 syllables
And bakes apple pies <----5 syllables

Short Story Contest
For our intents and purposes, a short story is a work of fiction comprised of 500 words or less (approximately one single-spaced page in Microsoft Word).
Rules:
- SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY HERE

- Participants may submit 1 entry
- Your work must be your own

Free-Form Poetry Contest
For this contest, participants may use any recognized form of poetry: rhyming couplets, limericks, quatrains... or you could be really adventurous and write us a Shakespearean sonnet. The choice is yours!
