Wondering if I can request a commission here....

I'm hoping this is the right area for it (I apologize in advance if it's not), but I'm curious if I can request a commission from someone, since the TP has some of the most talented artists I know. ^_^

This may seem kinda silly, but bear with me on this one, because it makes me happy.

Those of you, who like myself, are of an age to remember the golden years of sesame street may recall a blue furry monster who professed a love for baked confectionaries. A cookie monster, if you will. Back before he was considered a catalyst for obeisity in children, he sang a song called "C is for cookie". Perhaps you recall it?
In anycase, all withering sarcasm aside for the PC era, "C is for cookie" has become sort of like a zen-type mantra for me. It is a simple, childlike, and humorous way for me to remind myself to just accept some things in life as they are and not try so hard to change things I can't control. Well, a few weeks ago, my fiance suggested that I should have a picture made of Cookie Monster as a buddha, with that quote in scroll-y letters somewhere on the bottom. The more I thought about it, the more I fell in love with the idea.

So I was wondering, if anyone would mind giving it a shot? If you like, I could pay you, or find some ponies for you, depending on what part of the world you live in- I wouldn't necessarily feel right asking anyone to do this for free. Also, I don't mind if it's colored or not- that's up to the artist and how much time they want to sink into this.

If no one feels like doing this, hey that's fine- but I had wanted to check here first.

OMG just imagining that sent me to giggling!! I love the muppets and Sesame Street (hurrah for the old school SS!) well pretty much anything Jim Henson when he was alive! I would love to see what the finished product looks like!
 
Sorry I haven't responded back lately- worked 60 hours at work this week, so I'm a little tired.

How i charge:
The prices are the pony trade worth, I accept both Bank drafts and ponies from my wishlist worth this amount.

PONY ART
Sizes range from B5-A4
$4-$6 Cleaned up Sketches
$10 for full colour +Lineart chibi/normal pony
$20 for Horse/Non-pony/Heavy Custom design and something other than MLP
$25 for Still life sktches (Sample coming soon)

PETIT PONIES
Cuter, Chubbier and much more comical-like than chibis
$3 for Lineart
$4-5 for full colour

KEYRINGS
All keyrings are Laminated pictures 7cm(H)x7cm(W) with a keyring.
$2 extra only if you commission one pony art and want 1 keyring
$3 for 1 keyring in ready made limited edition poses you can pick out from
$6 for a custom pose

BOOKMARKS
All bookmarks are Laminated pictures 12cm(H)x5cm(W) with a ribbon.
$4 extra only if you commission one pony art and want 1 custom bookmark
$2 extra only if you commission one pony art and want 1 ready made limited edition design you can pick out from
$3 for 1 BOOKMARK in ready made limited edition deatiled designs you can pick out from
$8 for a custom pose and design 100% pencil lineart + colour
$8 for a custom pose and design 100% pencil lineart + shading
$6 for a custom pose and design 100% pencil lineart

This commission has already been filled. The finished product is in Other Art forum "Buddha Cookie Monster".

The commission is already finished. You can see it in my profile in my Current Art files or in this forum section titled, "Buddha Cookie Monster for Pikacheck". It's been done for a few weeks now.

BTW, when reading a new thread, please read all or most of the replies to it to understand what's going on. You missed all the information without reading further into it and looking through the forum to see if it was finished before you posted to this.
