Her second side is done. I hafta tidy up the bird and snow.

The wings are drying before I add color to them. Maybe I shoulda added color first? This is my first time trying the glitter and Suncatcher paint method, instead of the nail polish method. Hope it works.

Glue took longer then I thought to dry. I'm doing the wings half blue/half purple. Here they are half-painted. I decided to just do the underside.

ETA: She's getting blue wings, because what I thought was purple, is actually brown. Interesting.

I'm bummed that her bright jewel-toned hair, "mellowed" when it dried. How did that happen exactly? :blink:

As Snow Bird flew through the snowy sky, she saw a beautiful aurora borealis. "I wish my hair looked like that." She sighed wistfully as she passed through it.

The Northern Lights heard her wish and worked its magic.

"Look! Said a migrating bird. Looking down at a frozen lake, Snowbird gasped when she saw that her white hair took on the colors of the aurora and snowflake patterns graced her wings.
