Why won’t anypony help the ponies?

So, I’ve been watching pony movies today while I photograph my trader ponies.

I noticed that in all the movies all the creatures (Seaponies/Flutterponies/etc) refuse to help ponies at first.

It got me thinking. Why are other species always reluctant to help ponies when they are in need to most of help. Yes, granted, ponies seem kind of selfish and seem to only think of themselves most of the time.

But it was something that made me go; “hey!” And “hmm”

Thoughts? Or have I just officially lost my nuts? Lol

Grundle’s good...Grundle’s good.. Grundle’s gooooood!!

I’m all for character growth from what happens but it’s always a theme in all the pony movies and a lot of the episodes. A pony is in trouble and another species says no to help, only later to change his/her mind.

Except for Grundle’s. They’ll help no matter what. They got dream castle out of it anyhow. I still want Grundle toys though...

Well of course the Grundles helped, Grundle's good! I second the Grundle toys idea, that would've been awesome!

I do like the grundles however, I dislike the ponies gave up their dream castle to them. Seriously the smooze probably didn't wreak it even we are lead to believe it was. :/ everything was back to normal at the end.
