G3 White hoof magnets?

Hi just a quick question. I've just begun to recollect G3 ponies and I'm noticing some have white hoof replacements where the pink magnets use to sit. Anyone know why?

That happened when ponies were in transition from having magnets to not having them. They quit putting in magnets and just covered the hole with a white cap.

Goodness I knew they did this but I don't have one single white hoofed pony. How odd right?

Yes all of my ponies ether have a white hoof with no magnet or a pink hoof with a magnet. I have none that have a pink hoof but no magnet.
