I know that since the start of g1, ponies had some form of accessory - that being their tail ribbons- but when did they start wearing actual outfits? I want to lean toward the Osharena Takara ponies and give all credit to them for starting it, back in 1985, because bias. The song "Dressed like a Dream" in "Escape from Catrina" featured fully clothed ponies 2 years after the Japanese toyline had released, but I wonder if any instances of full pony outfits happens before that year, in the comics?
