About a while ago, I found a few G3 ponies at a garage sale, and I noticed that one of them is missing her hoof heart and her magnet.

She is a G3 Morning Glory and besides what I mentioned earlier, she looks perfectly normal... Like I said, she has no hoof heart, and the area that it would be located doesn't show any signs of wear. On her left front hoof, there is a small number 40, and her back left hoof says "2005 Hasbro," while her right back hoof says "made in China". On her right front hoof, where the usual pink magnet should be, is a nonmagnetic white piece with the same G3 logo that's always used. It's also not as raised as the pink magnets are, it must be thinner because the sides of the inside of her hoof are showing a little bit instead of completely being covered up.

I attached a few pictures, so any help identifying her or an explanation as to why she is like this would be appreciated. Thanks! :satisfied:

Some of the later G3's don't have magnets - apparently they represented a choking hazard, and were discontinued. The ponies instead had the 'covers' you see on your pony, and later on, simply had a small hole instead. As the hoof heart was to indicate which hoof had the magnet, they were no longer required after they were removed, however the same concept popped up in the core 7 ponies with the coat hanger on the hoof with the hole. That indicated that the 'polly pocket-esqe' ponywear issued with some later G3's in the core 7 poses would fit them.

Oh ok, it makes much more sense now! Thank you!
