There was so much information when I first started and it was hard at first. I had some interesting learning experiences like boiling the wrong group of ponies with another batch and boom yellow weird ponies. Do not boil ponies with chartreuse hair. ><: Be careful of using exact-o knifes. Plastic can slice palms. Yes that happened to me.. ><: Most of what I have learned are from tutorials (great pony persons there.) Thanks. :)

I learned about some restoration methods, sets and ponies and internationals that I never knew existed. I learned there was an entire gen I missed out on. (G2)

collecting ponies made me who i am today but i learned how to tell when somethings toxic its shocking how much you can learn from it

Acrylic paint is very, very, very bad. XD I've definitely learned to watch a bunch of tutorials on restoration before I actually attempt it, otherwise I end up making a mess of myself, my ponies, and my kitchen. Collecting is definitely a learning process in a lot of ways (but the biggest thing I've learned is how to shop effectively on eBay)!

I also learned how ponies were made. I got to hold a mold up close to see the inside of it. It was a pony's head.

i learned that you have to do your research and not trust everything people tell you. do your own proce checks, check past auctions that sold, check what other people are selling there pony for. also check feebdack of the person you are buying or trading from

Unfortunately this should be common sense. :/

I learned to leave the restoration to more experienced people.

I always learn about new, clever ways that people come up with to customize ponies. There are so many creative customizers out there :D I also, like Tak, have learned to leave heavier restorations to the experts, lol. Not very good at those

I learned that most of the resources for customizing are inactive and that now I feel guilty about customizing old ponies because now I know they're really limited...I'm so glad there are a lot of restoration resources now, too.
