I always liked to bake and write especially with music but my studies have taken up my time and I did not allow myself any free time away from it. So little to say I need something other than music and culinary to push my creativity in another direction. Also what is music and food without that special touch of imagery?

So just to get myself familiar with all of you and even get to know what is out there for my little pony fan art and customs lets explore these two simple questions.

What would be your primary medium? Examples;

Drawing would be chalk/Charcoal and marker/color pencil etc...
Painting would be oil/acrylic or water color etc...
Sculpture would be wooden sticks and or clay etc... (Custom pony figure)

Is My little pony fan art and customs all you do or do you create other forms of art?

I have a variety of ways to express my art.
Drawing with pencils, coloring with colored pencils, adobe photoshop, Copic Markers
I like to sculpt the hair when I make customs. I plan on teaching myself to sculpt people with polymer clay. I have an awesome book to teach me how.
Painting with acrylic
Sewing- I hand sew clothes for my daughter's dolls. I have used the Machine to make clothes for American Girl Dolls. I have sewn diapers and diaper stackers. I love to sew. I plan on making a cosplay outfit. I have also hand sewn outfits for custom ponies.
Customizing. I love to customize ponies. I just been on a 3 year break that's all.
Beading is another one of my creative outlets.

I like to draw people in the anime style. I also really like practice sketching realism. I really am no good at realism. Pony fan art is just easy for me due to not wanting to draw the darkside of things.
I'm also learning to craft items for my daughters dolls.

I don't do much MLP art yet. I recently just did my first ever Pony sketches for the Valentine card swap. I did work as a professional illustrator for a long time though. My medium then was specifically pencils that were inked and usually painted with coloured inks.

Now however my time is very limited because I'm caring for my mother, who has been placed in hospice. I do commison art now, speciality pieces that are primarily ink and Prismacolours. I admit the art subject is not of my choosing, but the payments are quite good, so I don't complain.

Otherwise I do mosiacs, sculpting and college work. Jewelry too when I have a chance. I'd like to get back to quilting too.

Guess what I really need to do it stop sleeping so I can get to my fun stuff. Too much work right now though. Still time later. :satisfied:

Pencil to paper, scanned in & digitally colored. I'd like to work traditionally, but my markers kind of suck. They're cheap. Can't really figure out how to add depth that looks as good as the shading I can do with just graphite pencils & finger smudging.

I also sew plushes from time to time, make clay sculptures occasionally, & put together paper craft models.

Right now all I do is MLP fan art lol. I do occasionally write stories/poems, & draw other fan art/original art though.

Custom ponies- acrylic paints, synthetic doll hair, various textiles, and authentic leather.

Drawings- watercolor pencils, various sizes of ink pens for dynamic line composition, and at rare moments, acrylic paints.

I've just recently taken on a commission request for ball jointed dolls. I'm applying my skills, materials and quality that I pour into ponies, into the dolls. Here's a couple photos:

Work in progress shots, pretty much a sneak-peek at the project :smilepony:

I draw a little MLP fanart, but not terribly often. I draw a lot less frequently now than I used to... back in high school I drew almost every day, on post-its and letters, even scribbled on my exam papers and my desk. I used to draw a lot of anime fanart. These days, I'm trying to develop more of a Disney art style, and so I typically draw human OCs a lot more than I do ponies, but I am trying to develop my own pony style and design one or two pony OCs too.

I don't have a tablet or anything, so I'm an exclusively pencil and paper artist. I don't usually shade or colour, but if I do, then I ink the outline first and then use coloured pencil and/or koki pen. In school I discovered that I also love to do mixed media art, especially with pen, felt tip and charcoal, but I haven't used either of those in years. I'd love to use Copic markers, but they are so insanely expensive...

Personally, I've never done any custom ponies, but I would love to try my hand at it one day. That is, if I can find inexpensive bait and then afford to import hair for it... I also want to try customizing dolls, especially Bratzillaz and Monster High, but the dolls are expensive. I'd probably try with a fakie and then cut nylon hair from a party wig before I do any serious attempts with an authentic doll or pony. I want to use watercolour pencils and acrylic paints, depending on the vinyl.

I also want to learn how to sew. I've been desperate to cosplay for years now, but lack the finances and the skills to tackle anything complicated. It's too expensive for me to use Worbla and polyeurethane resin, which appear to now be considered staples when it comes to doing quality, authentic cosplay. I'd like to make some felt/minky plushies and doll clothes too.

I'm a writer first and foremost, and I've written a lot of fanfiction and original works over the years, but I've only ever done one MLP fanfic, when I was maybe 10. It was, needless to say, awful... I haven't felt inspired to write anything for FiM yet, though perhaps one day I'll try my hand at coming up with a story, with some OCs and background ponies. I write in Notepad instead of MS Word, as I get thoroughly distracted by the squiggly red lines that appear when the program encounters a word that isn't in the dictionary.

I'm also learning to cook, and I'm very good at baking (especially cookies). I'd love to start playing with fondant and making little edible cake sculptures with it. And I wish that I could find pony-shaped cookie cutters! That'd be awesome.

Though I don't put art in the community or have a deviant art account, I do like to create art. :)
I've never really tried digital art before, but right now I do a lot in graphite and colored pencil. I can draw ponies, however I don't do it very often so the proportions are kind of... :p I like to draw anime and cartoon-style as well, and I also like doing realistic things. I've done several projects using photo-realism in colors and graphite. I've never done anything in charcoal, though it can't be much harder than graphite, right?

For painting, I don't have a lot of experience. I had never really painted anything with different tones in acrylic before, until recently; I'm not great though. I painted several solid colored ponies on the wall of my room, though.

I can't sculpt to save my life...

With sewing, I taught myself sometime early last year so my work is not perfect. The first few things I've made is holding up still, so that's good! I have done hand quilting , sewing, and (a lot of) embroidery; as well as machine sewing. I also would like to at least attempt to making doll clothes, LOL.

Lesse' considering I'm an art student, I should have some mediums here. Preferred one include:
-oil paintngs
-colored penicil
-pen and ink
-a little digital

and as far as the subject matter is concerned I like doing all sort of stuff!
-I can do cute, MLP-esqu drawing and cut-outs
- cute creatures and characters
-naturalistis fantasy creatures and monsters
-character concepts w/ a touch of cartoon influence
-still life paintings
- animal paintings / pet portrtaits
- landscapes
- conceptual work

I ain't great, but I like doing stuff.

I use pencil mainly but I have dabbled with acrylic paint.
