Big, small, local, world wide, tourist traps? What are some of your favorite places to have fun? Whether you go regularly or have only been there once?

Six Flags Magic Mountain-my favorite amusement park

Knotts Berry Farm-love going here

L.A. Zoo-its a nice zoo

La Brea Tarpits-prehistoric animals rawk!

Hollywood-such an awesome city

Santa Monica Piers-lovely

Big Bear-I love the woods

Silverwood Lake-see above

Busch Gardens in FL.-only been there once! Tons of fun!

Lake Tahoe stunning lake-only been there once

Bridal Veil Falls-the first and only time I've ever seen a natural waterfall. I love waterfalls

Catalina Islands-went there once, fantastic!

Dana Point Harbor-been there twice, once to have a beach picnic, once to go whale watching, didn't see any whales but me and my best friend still had a blast

There's this place in Apollo Beach where you can observe real, live WILD manatees! Not zoo ones. Wild ones, it was awesome

We are at the local zoo so much a lot of the staff know our names. We have a lot of great museums in our area, so we frequent those as well. We are pretty much home bodies, but when our kids are older I hope to travel a bit more :) We did go to Anna Maria Island several years ago and it was amazing. I would love to go back again. We loved the Tampa Zoo and Aquarium.

Omega Family Restaurant. A small, local place 40 minutes away that serves all-you-can-eat Walleye every Friday! Yum, yum... :)

Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park in Homosassa Springs, FL.

Old Cross Road Baptist Church in Gilead, IN Sunday nights. My main church where my folks help out with the music.

Any store that has the Star Wars figure, MLP blind bag or DVD I'm looking for. :D

A movie theater showing a movie I've been looking forward to, especially if it's 3D! ;)

Dixie Crossroads in Tiusville, FL. A restaurant that has the best grilled Rock Shrimp! It is cooked like Lobster and kinda/sorta tastes like it but costs a lot less. Mmmm,-mmmm...

Family and/or church get together pitch-in dinners.

@BronyTroy What's a Walleye? *pictures willy wonka's lickable wall paper but with candy eye balls*

Walleye has to be coyote. The probably serve Roadrunner too.

I love the Grand Cayman, Cozumel, The Rockies, Glacier National Park, Toy stores, Antique stores, the beach, Disney World, Sea World, Moody Gardens, The Ozarks, White Fish and Eastern Florida/or the Keys, Israel (have not been there yet but its on my bucket list as I know I will love it) lol

Hooray! Cartoon time! Road runner and Wile Coyote are some of my favorite looney tunes. *passes tula a bucket of popcorn with MnMs and settles down to watch*

Yay the only problem is I didn't realize that was an hour long. I thought it was 1 mintue. ROFLOL sorry. Picked the wrong video. Here have some cola! Oh and I have pony shaped cookies too.

Pfft! My dear tula an hour with looney tunes is never too long.

I agree I miss the Saturday Morning 2-3 hours of Looney Tunes. That was how I started my day as a kid. Cute little Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, Bugs...man I miss that show. Now when you watch a cartoon, someone always gets stabbed and blood squirts out and it doesn't leave anything to your imagination. The last cartoon made I really liked was Hey Arnold.

Almost any beach is on the top of my of places because my Grandad & Nana always took us to the sea. Any excuse to go is good, fishing or just taking Lightning for a walk, the horses aren't so keen on the beach as most of the rideable beaches here have a huge under tow but I loved taking my old horse Kossak to the river around here. We had some amazing hill rides too. Kossak was my best mate I could trust him to go anywhere & have the sense to know where we'd get into strife. One day I'll try & scan some of the old photos to put up as some of the views were great (I'm hoping Lofty will be as trail wise as my boss horse was)
@BronyTroy I love a good seafood place too. Were lucky here to be able to go get our own too
The dessert that the highway from LA to Las Vegas runs through I totally fell in love with (get the feeling my parents left in in the sand a lot as a kid lol) We went through just on sunset. AMAZING! The whole trip was just mind blowing just the scale of the America cities cause I've always lived in a small town.
And any place I can see a great sunrise or sunset, I like to be able to Photograph that sort of thing :)

*Pulls up a chair next to tulagirl and Leave a Whisper* CARTOONS!! :) LOL Ahem...I DVR Loony Toons from Cartoon Network. A couple Saturday morning ago, I stumbled across Tom & Jerry and my dad actually watched with me for half an hour. ;) I miss Saturday morning cartoons on network television *nods*

By the way, Leave a Whisper, Walleye is a usually high dollar, mild tasting, fresh water fish. Very good eating. Practically melts in your mouth. Mmmm-mmmmm! :) I used to go fishing on vacation in MN with family and sometimes we'd catch Walleye. Blue Gill is good, too. *Nudges tulagirl* Nothing to do with coyote. :p LOL

We went out West a few years ago. We looped from IN up through IL and WI, through MN to North Dakota to SE corner of Montana down to WY and back through South Dakota, MN, IL, WI and home to IN. Quite an enjoyable trip. I thought the Badlands were beautiful! :) We went to Yellowstone (loooong drive from Custer), Mt Rushmore, an animal park called Bear Country, a place called Reptile World and Deadwood. All very interesting. One afternoon as we were driving down a road, a wild Bison passed us walking in the other lane! LOL My dad, who was driving, turned pale. He could've reached out the window and touched it! Of course the window was rolled up we kept on driving. :) An amazing experience. *nods* Eeeeyup. ;)

Boy you have to watch out with those Bison. If they get mad enough they will charge your car and flip you up in the air like a ping pong ball. Then they do a little spin there and toss you upside down in the ditch. If you just happen to be unlucky enough to end up face to face with one say your prayers and hope its painless. whoooo weeee

Parks for my kids to run around at, nature trails, malls now and then maybe

Antique and thrift store hopping now and then, a convention once a year
Parades and events for the kids

Some days a simple grocery shopping trip is just the right change of pace

@BronyTroy Well I'm glad it's not coyote and road runner fricassee. Thanks Troy. *passes the popcorn bowl*
