I binge watched the new She-Ra show on Netflix (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) and I love it so much! It's so happy and joyful. And Catra is such a compelling character.

THEY ARE SOOOO BAD!

and really, what a terrible message to young women: If you don't have a man in your life, you cannot be happy. Only through matrimony will your dreadful life have any meaning. :D

Plus, notice they never use anyone but model types? No women of colour, no chunky gals, no homely dude. Only pretty, pretty people with million dollar houses and super important jobs. Barfffffff! (I can't help it, I am an insufferable cynic!)

They're like sanitized romance novels, but without the super corny language that makes you bust your gut laughing.

Am I the only one watching Wentworth? I freakin love that show. The 6th season introduced two new characters I'm in love with - Ruby and Rita, both are crazy fighters and this season has introduced a female fight club. I love it.

I took almost a 2 month break from Netflix but it's time to get back into it

So I was pleased to find movies of 7 Deadly Sins, Black Mirror Aggretsuko to fulfill us while we wait for their new seasons to come out.

Also watched a new movie called The Doll cause I LOVE creepy doll movies. I'll tell you I sat through the subtitles cause its stoeyline was FAR BETTER than the usual American cliché of innocent people getting haunted then them having to reach out to get a exorcism done on their home without someone getting killed.

It went a better direction of the spirit wasn't 100% in the wrong for their revenge due to a deeper cause for them going after a member of the household.

I was actually able to go to sleep afterwards due to a storyline that made more sense

I’ve been watching, and loving, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego on Netflix.

They did an awesome job of bringing back characters of the original game show, PC game AND cartoon. I am loving they’re still adding in geographic trivia into the show but it’s super seamless. I LOVED the game show and PC game growing up and it gave me a life long love of geography, so I’m happy to see the new show and how much they brought back of the originals.

Netflix has been really on top of their nostalgic game lately.

After I’ve watched all of this, I will be watching season 2 of The Punisher - because I also really enjoyed that show.

I need to catch up on Steven Universe.

I mostly lurk on YouTube watching things about games, anime, or writing. Been on a Monster Prom kick as of late.

As far as TV - I suppose Game of Thrones, Law and Order:SVU, and Riverdale.

Overall though when the hubby and I watch tv together or have it in the background when we're prepping classes/grading, it's Whose Line is it Anyways. We must have watched the 13/14 seasons now 3 times through and we are re-starting for a 4th watch through. Not to get too sappy but I could have the most stressful work days, and coming home and watching that show just is almost therapeutic for myself and my husband. Also all the improve folks on there are just such great people and so funny!
