I had to do my work, and I took a break, a little, tiny break. And what did I found? My WATERCOLORS! I was inspired by another member here, @Ember's Dream, and did one of my favorite sets, the Rainbow Curl ponies!

Between a couple of 30 minute breaks, 5 hours total, I made these

Now, onto the actual ponies!

In order:
Ringlet

Stripes

Streaky
(A lot more darker than the actual pony!)

I'm so happy I finished this set! And look! They have the same poses as the actual ponies! SQUEEE!~

Oh they are super! :flutter2: I looove how you draw their eyes, so puurty! I never thought I could ever be an inspiration to anyone hehe. Aren't watercolours just so fun?! I'm assuming you used the palette type also? If something comes out too dark you can always 'wash' it with water to lighten it :)
I especially love the Ringlet one~

Those are wonderful! Very impressive! Right-on! Simply divine!

You are right, watercolors are really fun! I really loved your art with Watercolors, and you should believe me, you are an inspiration!
Yes, I used the palette WATERCOLORS and I'm too afraid of washing paper :p I used a white colored pencil and it works amazing for making dark colors light.

Thanks, Autumn!

You should be fine if it's watercolour paper, you can drench them in water as much as you want LOL. But what I meant was if something's too dark, add heaps of water to it immediately, then dab the water up with a tissue, and the water will take some of the colour with it, lightening the shade! :)

Very nice ponies! I need to get some of those water colors and try them. I am just not all that great at painting. My mother has that talent not me at all. It would be fun to try it though.

Ooh so good looking ponies! Great work :)

What a cute set! I especially love Ringlet. <3
Thank you all! Hearing your comments make me happy!

@tulagirl You should try! Its fun trying to not have the yellow bleed in with the black....

I'm so glad this got bumped! I didn't see it first time 'round. You sure did a bang up job, skygleamshine. These are so pretty!

You is super talented!
