I was just the right age in 1998 to be insanely in love with the Grand Champions Micro Mini Horse sets. I would save up my money to buy them whenever they came out, they were definitely my first sought-after collectible items. I took them everywhere with me, and had a good 90 - 100 horses all together. They each had names, many of which I still remember. I lost a single horse once, and cried for a couple of hours until I found it again. I was attached to these things!

My family then had to move out of state, and we hired movers to pack our things and move them. I packed my precious horses with a few other favorite items. However, it was the dead of summer, and during the move the stickers labeling our boxes as "ours" fell off a few of them, and we could not claim the boxes. My box containing some of my most prized things was one of them. :(

Of course, Grand Champions has since stopped selling the packaged horses of 5. I can find four sets of 2 now, but that just isn't the same. I'm looking to "buy back" my Micro Mini horse collection. I'm at 0 right now, so any offers would be appreciated!!!

(Nice collection list here: Grand Champion Horses - Micro Minis )

Thank you!

Try looking on Ebay. I often see big lots of the Micro Minis on there going for almost nothing (the last one was 40 of them for $5).

Good luck finding them all.

I have been watching ebay and craigslist like a hawk lately. I haven't seen anything aside from a small miss matched family. :( I'll definitely keep looking! Thanks for the encouragement. hahaha

Are you still looking for these collections? I have 4 of the 5-horse collections still in their original packaging. Just let me know.
Thanks.
