Just cleared my loft and found my MLP all sad and alone and decided it was time to find them a new home where they can be loved again!

Everything dates from the early 80's (ponies feet are all stamped 82 83 or 84) and there is a mix of ponies, accessories and buildings (god I loved that castle!).

However I have no idea how to go about it. I have no idea what they're worth, what's the best way to sell, how not to get ripped off or have people in stitches because of the ludicrous price I want!!! So, HELP! Ideally I'd like to sell the whole lot to one person as I don't really have the time to do all the research/work to sell them separately.

Attached is a pic of the whole lot - I have individual pictures of each pony/building if that helps.

Many thanks

Olivia

Right - after a couple of hours on Google I think I've identified them all now. All bought in the UK if that helps.

So I think I've got:
Applejack
Baby Cotton Candy (inc play set stuff)
Baby Lickety Split (inc play set stuff)
Bubbles
Cherries Jubilee
Honeysuckle (missing her wings sadly)
Lemon Drop
Majesty (blue eyes)
Peachy (think she's the FF version, but I need to double check that)
Posey
Sprinkles (bit confused as I think she came with the green waterfall, but that doesn't look right from what I can find on the internet AND she looks a darker shade of pink to lots of the ones on the internet)
Tootsie
Wavebreaker (including her shell)
Windy

Lots of them still have their accessories. Plus the buildings.

Here's the explanation of the Sprinkles with the green waterfall: http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/waterfall.htm Yours looks like the regular lavender version Sprinkles. She discolors easily which is probably why the pictures you've seen show her in a bit different color. There is a mail order version that is much pinker, but that one would be closer in color to your Wavebreaker. For prices, I generally start by checking Bluerose's price guide then checking the most recent sold items on ebay. Of course, that doesn't factor in included accessories, but at least it's a starting point. The playsets can be a hard sell due to shipping, but the castle is popular and the green waterfall is Euro exclusive. Hopefully, someone will see this soon who can help more with the prices. I do know that your Baby Lickety Split is the Euro version and worth more than either version we got in the US. Most everyone else is pretty common.

Hi :)

Plan at the moment is I'm going to spend some time matching up all ponies and accessories and working out more accurate prices. Then I'll put it all up for sale properly. TBH the waterfall was one of the first things I had and got played with a LOT, so it's really not in good nick - I'll make sure I get you lots of good pictures so you can see exactly what the problems are. I think it'll only be peanuts in price. Biggest problem is likely to be postage as I'm in the UK - doesn't bother me, but postage will probably be lots more than the cost of the waterfall :D

I'll let you know as soon as I've got all the matching up done - probably end of May.

Cheers
