Hey! I'm not sure I'm posting in the correct spot, but I just wanted to share some resources for collecting Vintage Puppy in my Pocket, if there are any other collectors out there!

I just started a website, which can be found at Puppy in my Pocket - Home So far I have most of the Puppy info done, and I'm just starting on Kitties. Other lines will be added soon.

Ooh now that is a trip down memory lane for me - my sisters had loads of the puppies. They may still be around... but I seem to recall some having really different names to the ones listed! I guess there were UK names. If I get a chance to dig out the box they're in, I'll try to get you a copy of the little checklist that got put into some of the packs. I know we definitely had #8a, Suzy, because I remember her brandy barrel! I had #11a Becky and #19a Ben myself, my only two. Hehe.

I collected Pony in my Pocket mostly although I certainly didn't have as many as my sisters had puppies!

Nice job on the site, I bet it took a while to get all of the info put together. :) I'm enjoying going through!

Edit: Now I'm going through them one by one, I see you have listed UK names for some! Awesome, thank you! ^__^

Thanks! Maybe I should have used the UK names, since those are actually more popular. But I live in the US, so I was more familiar with those names! Thanks for checking out my site!
 
Very nice website! Reading it made me realize that I actually had several Kitty in my Pocket and Puppy in my Pocket figures when I was little! :shockpony:
 
FINALLY. I have tons of these, used to be a collector when I was a kid. But I couldn't remember the name of the toy!

Definately going to try to trade them of for ponies at your board lol :p
 
P.s. I have one not listed on your site.

It's from a suprise pack, scooper but a way darker colour. Maybe you are interested in a picture?
