Hi my name is Dannaeve. I have never been part of a forum before and am not sure how all of this works yet, but I'm excited to find so many people who love MLP. I was a child in the 80's and loved playing with My Little Pony, She-ra, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Jem. I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up, and I am! I don't have any children of my own, just two 16 year old step sons. Aside from finishing up my MFA this spring, I also started my own princess party business for little girls and I sew all the gowns myself.

And even more important, I discovered the cartoon Friendship is Magic, and have started collecting G4 ponies. I was injured in a car accident and spent the last year and a half mostly at home and in therapies, which was very depressing as it delayed my graduation. My Little Pony has helped me to get through this difficult time and bring joy into my life! I now have about 65 G4 ponies and a few playsets. I was buying but now I think it's best if I trade since in running out of money, lol!

If anybody knows of any groups of people who love MLP in Western PA, please let me know! It will be great to make some friends online, but I'd love to meet some people in person. I'm interested in playing the card games I see in the toy store, but I can't play it by myself.

Hello from Ontario, Canada. I'm always happy to hear that ponies have helped others the way they have helped me. I got into MLP through Friendship is Magic, too. I only discovered it a couple months ago. I grew up in the 80s but was more of a Barbie, Jem and She-Ra fan. Been finding and watching the G1 cartoon (I want to get the whole set that was released) and I cannot believe what I missed, both in terms of the show and the ponies. Have a great day!

Hi Lady Bastilla! Nice to meet you. I also loved Barbie, Jem, and She-Ra. I actually just bought She-ra on her Pegasus! I have never seen the G-1 cartoon. I was looking for it on Netflix but I wasn't sure if the ones on there are G 1 or not. I really loved the few ponies I had when I was little, but I never saw the cartoon till FIM. It's great that FIM has helped you, too! Do you collect ponies? I have too many but still not enough! You have a great day as well!
