I just got a second Tux n Tails in the mail the other day and he's noticeably darker in color. His hair looks a shade off too. My other one is a bright blue (not faded), and this one looks like he's got a navy tint to his body color.

I was wondering if any out there knows if there are any tell-tail differences between Coat n Tails and Tux n Tails??

Hmmm...I thought he was just given 2 different names because they messed up on flyers or something. I've had 2 that were identical, so, I don't know of any differences.

Hong Kong Tux is brighter blue. China is darker. I have three, two Chinas and one Hong Kong.

I don't know if the name difference means anything or not. Perhaps one was sold as Tux and one as Coats, but I don't know.

more of the later ponies were made in china. early ponies are hong kong.

The name thing doesn't have anything to do with it. But the country definately does. You see this with the taf babies too.

Huh. Both of mine are made in China, even the brighter blue one, though. Anyone else have a bright blue China one?

I'll have to keep my eye out for a Hong Kong one now ;)
