Truly_Scrumptious' Pony Art Thread

thank you so much everyone!! I appreciate all of your kind words : ))

Absolutely adore your art! I love your marker art, I actually thought it was watercolor first with how beautifully blended and how lush everything looks!

thank you so much!! the first 2 pages of this thread used old premiere markers I picked up here and there, but the majority of my marker work (pony and otherwise) is now in copic markers, a pricey brand but if you want great markers that blend well I really recommend them :) I have the cheaper "copic ciao" ones that aren't refillable but I've gotten so much use out of them, and they're starting to go, so I'm actually thinking of working towards a refillable set for longevity. They're worth it!

The Copic ciaos markers can actually be refilled too! I’ve done it a bunch of times :D You buy the refill ink and either drip the new ink onto the brush nib one at a time (I do 12-18 drops) or pull out the chisel and fill it through the hole there
So don’t toss them out! They can last forever ^_^ though sometimes they need new nibs
I prefer the Copic sketch ones cause they don’t roll off the desk but they’re so expensive that I’ve mostly bought the ciaos.

I love your art so much! So you think you'd ever consider taking commissions in the future?
thank you so much! Yes, I do take commissions :) I have a post over on my tumblr here detailing commission info. It's just for digital art, so if anyone wants a traditional piece scanned in or mailed to their house let me know and we can work out the details :)
