Modeled after Tongoroa at Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. Father of All Gods & Goddesses, Tongoroa Took the Form of a Tree,
(A Tree That No One Ever Did See), And So Each Spring the Legends Say,
New Life Comes Forth in Wonderous Way.

Formerly a RD airbrushed all the way up to her ears in various shades meant to mimic twilight.

The hair is a seven color blend *sticks out tongue trying to remember* I think Chocolate Fudge, Espresso, Roasted Almond, Water Nixie, Raspberry Sorbet, Hyacinth, and Tea Rose.

All the sculpting was done in apoxie. CC very, very welcome!

I'm not sure f there would be any interest in this, since it is rather special interest, so I am open to offers on Tongoroa.
 
Wow! I think she's really, really pretty ^-^ My boyfriend's mom collects Tiki masks, so that's the first thing I thought of (unfortunately never been to the Tiki Room while visiting Disney Land). I can't work with Sculpy or the like for the life of me, but you did a great job :D
 
WOW! What a super cool original pony! The colors are so beautiful, I love the eyes, they are so beautiful and expressive, I love the detailed headband and the sculpting is awesome! I can hear the Tiki room music playing in my head now! Fantastic pony! :clap::worthy::worthy::worthy:
 
lol! I gotta get me one of those adopts visiting Disney! You know I only went to the Tiki room for my first time ever over the summer! ha, never new what I was missing!

I promise the hair is nowhere near as intricate as it looks. Just some twisting and some pins to secure it. Maybe one of these days I'll do some hair tutorials, I just mainly experiment and twist until I get something I like!
 
very pretty pony. never been to the tiki room or ever even heard of it, but i think the pony gave me a pretty good idea of what it is like.
oh. and do the hair tutorials!! :D i so want to learn to make styles like your pony

First of all, lemme say I love your custom! The Tiki Room was always one of my favorite Disney attractions, so I had to smile when I saw the pony's name.

Secondly, here's a reference pic of Tangoroa for those of you who have not visited the Tiki Room yet:

My husband and I went to Disneyland during our Honeymoon in November (he had never been) and he was a good enough sport to join me for this show.
 
I second the request for a tutorial or suchlike on the hairstyle, it looks so intricate and pretty!
