Here's my problem, 99% of my collection is boxed up. I rarely see these ponies. I had packed them up to keep them nice until one day, I would have a toy room to display them all. Realistically, if my husband and I are going to start a family soon am I ever going to have a toy room? Will my rare ponies stay nice after children? I really don't even miss the ponies I don't see. I think I just like the idea of having them.

Do I sell them or is this just a phase?

Whatever you are doing with your ponies in the future, I would wait a few weeks, before deciding something. Maybe something will change, or you get new ideas.

I personally wouldn't sell them. I have about 90% of my collection boxed up and would definitely miss them if they weren't there, even the ones I don't like. But if you want to down size, just save you favorites and some rares cause those are the ones you'll really regret getting rid of!

I've already started selling and I'm ok with it all so far. There will be a few I'll keep for sure, Mimic, Speedy, Baby Dancing Butterflies...but there are some that could probably still go. We'll see.

Thanks for all the advice.

Man that is a tough one. I personally would keep them. But if you really don't miss them when you don't see them and it doesn't bother you the idea of selling them, I say sell them :) you can always collect again later.

You say that 99% of your ponies are boxed up. Why not rotate the display of the few that you do have on display?

That way you can enjoy them more, even though you dont have a pony room or tons of display space.

I just can't bear to rotate the three I have out together...Mimic, Speedy and Baby Dancing Butterflies. They are gorgeous together and my top three favorites. That probably sounds silly, oh well. For now the few I have left will stay.
