Hi I have a talk a lot that I want to test. I have her in to pieces and there's no indication of what type of batteries to use. It was empty no old battery when I got it. It was said to be not working. Where can i find info on which battery to use. Its definitely button batteries at least 2-3. Haven't found anything searching online. Thanks - Christina

Hmmm, I don't like talking toys so I never even opened mine up to see if the old batteries are still in there but if no one else comes back with an answer I will let you know what I find this weekend. I'm away from home ATM but can check when I get back :)

Yep, I just pulled mine apart and those were for sure original batteries. The number was old but when I cross referenced it they are 357 or LR44. I actually have some and I'm going to see if she still works, though I'll immediately remove the batteries cause talking toys is CREEPY!

Yes especially when they go off by themselves on a stormy night. This happened to me while babysitting three young children back in my 20's. We were so freaked out because we kept hearing something talking to us and, we had no idea what it was. It was like a tip toe in the room looking everywhere and finally found in the toy box a talking toy. The oldest which was 5 at the time got a huge kick out of it and still mentions it to me. He is all grown up now.

Exactly Tula! I don't mind if they talk when they're supposed to but if she went off at 2am that could ruin ponies for me  Not worth the risk!

I have both one of them has a broken clip where the batteries are supposed to go. :/ I like both but I don't have the batteries in them and I also worry that they might rust inside keeping the batteries in them for a long time. I don't really own any other talking toys but my daughter has a talking one though I don't find it offensive or creepy. I once owned a meowing cat and that thing went off during the evening once. I saw the stuffed kitty again recently and put her to the thrift store. :/

I left one of the plush singing baby Starsongs in the backseat a few years back. Her batteries were going dead apparently and she started 'singing' in a guttural voice while my Poopsie was driving to work. She said she thought Satan was in the car. LOL!

Well on all the spook shows about demons there seems to be a few in the mix that know how to manipulate electronic devices.

Those shows crack me up so hard. They act all tough guy going into a house then scream like babies every 5 minutes. If I were a ghost I'd leave till they went home just for some peace and quiet.
