So, we are going to start doing a thread for the G3 Pony of the Day! Each day will be a new thread and a new pony and your job is to share everything you know about that pony... YOUR pictures, release types, merchandise, variant info, etc... Once we get all the info on that pony, we will move the thread to the G3 Reference Library.​

Sweet Summertime came with Seaside Surprise set.
Compared to the original single release, her body is darker and less pearly.
The pink colour in her symbol is much brighter. Her hoof heart is lighter.

Packaging Factory Error: Not only is there no sticker on the front,
but the front panel on the backpack was put on backwards.

Other interesting information:
in 2007, Cutie Cascade pony Morning Glory was named "Sweet Summertime" on some internationally released boxes.​

I did a search for threads relating to Sweet Summertime, and there was one from 2005 and someone selling:

MIB Sweet Summertime & Sparkleworks II Promo pack $15

Was there a promo pack that came with these packaged together or did I read this wrong? If so, does anyone have pics?

Just found this gal upstairs while I was looking for something entirely different. I have the bag with the backward panel and no sticker.

Release year: 2004, I believe. That's the copyright date on the back of the package.

Name: The set's name is Seaside Surprise with Sweet Summertime.

Exclusive info: I want to say that she was a TRU exclusive, but there's no sticker to indicate it and I don't remember.

UPC: 6 53569 03366 0.

Pony Points: Six. It's the Frilly Frocks points design.

Accessory info: She also comes with a yellow towel that is not pictured in the original post.

Backcard story (actually on a card attached to the bag):
SWEET SUMMERTIME got up extra-early today so she could be the first one at the beach. What should she do first, swim? Look for starfish? Take a walk along the shore? There's so much to do, it's hard to choose!

I really don't remember there being a promo pack with this set. Perhaps the seller was saying the promo pack was with Sparkleworks II.



My opinion of this pony? Mine is hidden in a storage bin somewhere. *oops* Shows you how much "I" love her!! LOL! I bought her new when she was on store shelves and have since put her away. I'm currently going through my collections and organizing and upgrading, so she will make an appearance one of these days soon. I did absolutely LOVE the castle accessory with the little crab popping out. I giggled when I first discovered that one.
