Mhh, sounds good. I've found vegan Magnum ice lollies at every corner in the UK, but I didn't know Magnum also has scoop ice cream in a box. Nothing vegan available from Magnum over here though. :madpony:

Actually, I wanted to use a non-dairy banana ice cream (banana split with banana ice cream, what would be more fitting?), but when I discovered this task yesterday evening I was full already (we had just had dinner), so I needed the boyfriend to eat the banana split after the photo session and he would have steadfastly refused to eat it with banana ice cream in it, so I had to use this one instead:

He asked about three times where the pony had been before and if I used any disinfectant on it, lol. I had to assure him that it's one of my childhood ponies and has been regularly washed with dish soap as she had to pose for other photo tasks before. :lolpony:

I've heard a lot of fireworks over the past week but not seen any. The big show got cancelled and they're otherwise illegal in my area. So I'm glad I took my photo early.

I notice there's no current photo task... what could it mean?

It means CJ was being lazy in not getting the newest task up first thing this morning! :lolpony: :winkpony:

You guys make me so proud! Here I was driving home from work last night thinking, "Gee, I hope SOMEone posts a banana split photo for the task... no one had put any up the last time I checked..." And when I get home and look again there are SO MANY photos! Yay! Good work!

It's actually not scoop ice cream, (though now I wish they had that) I had to wrestle/twist the sticks out of the bars. I was only going to use one, but I ended up using two since it made the bowl look fuller. I also broke off the chocolate coating to use as a topping. I would have asked my brother to eat regular ice cream, but he doesn't like sprinkles or toppings on his ice cream. I also think he would have been skeptical about the pony even though I washed her like you did.

Oh CJ no complaint! I am thankful we have the weekend (hopefully no rain!) to figure this latest task out

Do other MLP characters that aren't ponies count? Like pony friends, Discord, etc? I figure they do, just checking.

No, actually. When the tasks ask for a certain number of ponies, that is actual pony ponies. The friends can be part of the photo, but the task elements must be met with real ponies.
