MLPTP EVENT step #2 discussion

I have to abstain from this step completely :( I don't have a fireplace at my apartment, and because of that, when I was shopping for christmas decor, I didn't even bother getting my husband and I stockings.

I have a stocking at my mom's house, but that's not going to be feasable to get over there to get it.

a little bummed about this challenge, but there will be others.

We don't actually hang our stockings over the fireplace because my dog tries to pull them down and I don't want her to get hurt, so our stockings are hung up on Command hooks next to the fireplace (much higher up). I just temporarily hung mine to get the picture... Just saying if you actually wanted to get a stocking there are options. :)
 
I found some little stockings at the dollar store by my house, so at least I'll get some points. better than nothing!
 
LMAO... I printed out a picture of a fireplace... sneaky points for the win? ;)
 
Buddafly, Don't feel bad. I used my stocking that I bought for my dog last year, and I'm like the last person to have a fireplace, being in south florida! Some points are better than none! :)
 
I got mine up . . . no fireplace but a really beutiful stocking, if I may so myself. My grandma made it for me. I decided to spruce up Cinnamon Breeze with a bit of plastic holly that I've had since forever. She's hanging from the horseshoe that's nailed to the door of my room.
 
I'm so bummed as I wanted to use my stocking that my sister made me (she put Applejack on it) but it's still packed up. Had to use the dog's >.<
 
Who would have thought a fireplace would be so hard to find? I had to use the one at work, so you see the reflection of the room in the glass. Better than nothing.
 
No fireplace here, sadly. :( Some points better than none, used a stocking I got from my boss a couple years back. :3
 
Dragon lady I am so jealous of your fireplace!

And buddafly....all I can say is this :laugh: I do love it when people go the sneaky route it is so much fun.
 
I almost used my grandmother's DVD (I have one, too, and can't locate it) of a fireplace.... but I wasn't sure if it was allowed. Hmm.... now I know! I'm learning! :)

It is totally cool (or warm...) ;), but I don't actually get to be anywhere near it. My second job is at a private sports club that has posh function facilities and a high end restaurant. I'm lucky I work there cause it helped with my pic. :D
