Apple Jack Steampunk Aviator
Custom pony figure of Apple Jack from The Hub series My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, remixed as a generation 1 pony figure.
AND NOW, THE GENERATIONS COLLIDE

Pony base is an engineered pose of two different generation 1 ponies, body of the purple sparkle pony, head of one of the first line of collector poses.
Put down a layer of Gesso over the entire pony, then did full body repaint job in apricot orange acrylics. Eyes painted in my style. Didn’t paint cutie marks this time, decided her apples would be 3-D trinkets on the flank portion of her outfit.
Mane and tail are re-rooted in RetrodollUS’s pale yellow hair called Jonquil.
Outfit- started with the boots. They are a couple of layers of brown suede, used both sides of the material for different parts of the boots. Lined the top with a neutral pink lace, thick acorn-colored leather for the soles. Embellished with tiny cogs and golden flower pendants to finish.
Next piece- the blouse. Stitched from red, white and blue country floral patterned cotton material; used beige cotton material with square pattern, for the collar line.
Over-alls- Stitched from a sheer olive-colored scarf material, folded over in 4 layers. I hemmed the bottom with light brown fringe.Cut up tiny beige rectangular pieces from thin suede for belt loops, stitched the loops to the overalls then threaded thin strip of white leather through the loops.
Cutie mark trinkets- Set aside 3 apples for each side of her flank to be strung on floral wire with leaf beads and various pearl and wooden beads. Took a large apple button and stitched orange rope to it, then stitched at the top of her tail onto the overalls.
Added a few more strands of steampunk bead embellishments of keys, an acorn, faux diamond with a red leaf, some larger cogs and a couple more strands of long glass beads and red/metallic ones.
Hat- I hand-stitched from thick acorn-colored leather then made aviator googles from a strip of silver metallic faux leather, some gold oval metal pieces fastened to gray ribbon, a green chain around the silver strip and a couple strands of steampunk-style beads down Apple Jack’s pigtails.
