spring/valentines/easter theme atc swap ideas?

while we are waiting for our holiday swap to finish up, i want to get some ideas for the next swap. do we want 2 or 3 groups. 2 groups being valentine and easter/spring theme or 3 groups being valentine, easter and spring them or cut one of those out entirely?

here are some past swaps we have done under these categories:

valentine
victorian valentines
love is in the air
valentine cards

easter
colored easter eggs
easter bunny

spring
flowering tree festival
pony friends
luck of the irish
april showers bring may flowers
double rainbows
flowers of love
i <3 my pet

any other ideas are welcome. this next swap more than likely wont start til possibly march.
 
Hanami, which is Japanese cherry blossom viewing.

Luck of the irish sounds really fun too if we can do a repeat.

And this is going to sound dumb, but what about egg-shaped ponies? Lol told you it was dumb. But I think it would be hilarious to draw them in cutesy egg style.
 
I like the idea of Valentine's Day cards. I also like Luck of the Irish and April Showers Bring May Flowers, but honestly I wouldn't mind any of these. : )
 
I personally am not a big fan of Easter, so my vote is for two groups with Valentine and Spring themes.

As for the themes, there were some great choices in previous years.
I have a slight obsession with Celtic mythology so Luck of the Irish is a good choice in my book, lol. Victorian valentines sounds fun too - we could draw steampunk ponies!

It would be cool if we could paint ponies on eggs or at least their cutie marks. They'd be tough to mail, though.
 
Yay steampunk ponies! I second that. And Celtic designs are the best.

victorian meaning old fashion, with laces, doilies and flowers. i guess a steampunk valentine theme could be doable.

This one is pretty obvious, but maybe bunnies with ponies. Or how about baby animals with ponies and ponies dressed as baby animals.
 
My idea is Valentines Through Time. What Valentines from the cave pony era all the way to the future might look like or how the ponies giving them on Valentines Day might look. Would a cave pony give their favorite dinosaur pal a heart-shaped rock? Maybe a princess pony could give her knight sweetheart a kiss, or a futuristic pony might e-mail a Valentines greeting to their best robot friend.
