My childhood Princess Aquamarine meeting her "replacement" :S

For the record, I didn't do that to her ^_^. When I was ten I got a secondhand showstable for Christmas and she was stowed away inside it. I was so excited I had another Princess Pony to go with Sapphire I never cared about her symbol but...er...

She's never been photogenic :p

I often wonder what became of that other heart...it's a tough life being a Princess Pony.

I'm sorry if the pic is a bit big - my art program is having several issues with saving and resizing at the moment and I couldn't get it to update the file once I'd saved it once :S

Oh, I couldn't part with her...I'm too soft and she's been with me for thirteen years, LOL :)
She's currently sitting on top of my hifi, non display side out (she has that symbol). I'm notoriously bad at parting with the original collection pony when I upgrade, especially when she's a childhood pony.

The other one has taken her space in the cupboard with my other princesses, dragons and bushwoolies. Guess Prickles has to get used to a new "mistress" :p

Yikes, poor pony! I guess she was really loved!
Your replacement looks beautiful!

Spot the difference, eh? Different colored hat. hehe. I always wondered how princess symbols stayed on, so seeing that is interesting.

Well, although her replacement is lovely, there's nothing more beautiful than a cherished, well-loved toy. Old Aquamarine gets my vote!

heh :D I think she gets mine too, just because of that Christmas memory. But I'm glad I finally have one with PINK hair and TWO symbols that I can display :D

Never fails to amaze me how some ponies can come out of a childhood in pristine condition, and others looking like they've been something's chew toy :S

I wouldn't be able to part with my childhood ponies, either. I didn't think I had any (my dad threw them away when I was little), but right before I moved I found an old Firefly that was in my box of childhood toys I hadn't unpacked (yes, since my first move) before I started collecting ponies.

...And I accidentally left her in Aberdeen in the storage unit. *smacks self* I'll get her back eventually, when we've saved enough to rent a truck. :)

*re-reads post* Okay, that's kind of hard to follow, but I'm too tired to fix it. :p

Awww, she's cute :) She looks more "loved" than the replacement... Of course they are both! ;)

Lol - my childhood Ponies (the few that I have left) are here to stay, too. ^=^ We've been through a LOT together, ans most look worse that that poor Serena! Although, it's hard to say that, being that she's missing her entire symbol.

Yay for childhood Ponies!
