My sweet daughter isn't very good at cleaning up after herself. It's not really unusual or surprising. I'm so ocd. I've got her mattress on the floor in my room, so it's easier to safely wake her up in the mornings for school. There's a nightstand by the head of her bed that she tends to leave cluttered. You need to go across her mattress to reach it. There were food dishes in particular that I couldn't stand anymore. So, I've been doing pretty well and decided to clean. Such a mistake. At the end of her bed, my left foot slipped off the mattress and landed hard on the floor. It jarred my neck so hard that my left arm lost feeling until late this morning. I feel so stupid! No matter how careful I am, I always manage to have these little accidents. All day today I've been paying for it, and it looks like tomorrow will be the same. I'm a bed slug, again. I see my surgeon for the next follow up on Monday, yes Christmas eve, and I'll let him know what happened. I'm so bad at this "rest and recover". On a completely different thought, my mother got her puppy yesterday. An 8 week old bernese mountain dog. They named her Zoe and she is, of course, an adorable fuzzball. She weighs 13.5 lbs to my Wesley's 14 lbs. He only weighed 3.5 lbs when I brought him home at the same age. Does that mean Zoe will end up 140 lbs? lol I can't access much brain power right now. I dedicated too much of it to pain management.
